Monitoring and Evaluation System Design

Social change groups are increasingly being called us to “demonstrate impact”, and often are forced into using metrics and methods imposed from above to assess their progress and relevancy.  We believe in the importance of social change groups to establish their own evaluation frameworks and appropriate metrics.

AEC collaborators have worked with large multi-national NGOs as well as smaller community based organizations, including partnerships and collaboratives where there is limited agreement on change theories, strategies and expected outcomes.  We customize a rigorous participatory process that builds buy-in, engagement and individual capacity to think evaluatively, in a way that meets both the internal needs of organizations and projects as well as reporting and fund raising requirements.
