Outcome mapping and theory of change strategies are methodologies used for planning and assessing of social change work.
Action Evaluation Collaborative consultants are experienced with both theory of change and outcome mapping strategies. Consultants have lead M&E processes using both of these frameworks, and generally prefer to use a hybrid of these approaches, given the strengths and limitations of each, based on the needs and realities of the organizations involved. In all cases we emphasize models and approaches that are structured around observing contribution rather than attribution.
